This week has been filled with some crazy and disturbing news.
- There’s the story about the guy who smoked some weed, drank some whiskey, and left his baby in the oven overnight. (The oven was off; the baby is physically fine.)
- The plane that hit and killed a jogger on Hilton Head Island.
- And a guy who held his knee on a 2-year old girl’s chest until she stopped breathing.
What’s going on out there, people? Can you point me to some good stories? Hope, happiness, joy?
Maybe newspapers ought to start a page called News About Decent People, Actions and Events. Is that still news? Is it news that people will read, or can papers forced to print only the sensational and horrific because that’s what we buy?
