Me: No way. She’s not a lesbian. She’s just trying it out because she’s in Hollywood.
Me: Remind me again, which one is Lindsay Lohan?
Him: She’s that actress; that one in Mean Girls.
Me: Oh! Was she the nice girl? Really? That’s Lindsay Lohan? Lindsay Lohan was the nice girl? Are you sure?
Him: Yep.
Me: How? How are you sure? You didn’t even see Mean Girls. How do you know she was the nice girl?
Him: I know a lot about pop culture. I don’t have to have seen Mean Girls to know she played the nice girl.
Me: Huh, really. Because I saw Mean Girls, and I didn’t know. A lesbian. Okay, sure I buy that. But I still don’t know how you knew she was in Mean Girls.
Him: Honey, don’t enter a pop culture contest anytime soon.
Man, I know all sorts of useless info like that. It’s sad really, but I rock at DVD Pop Culture trivia games.
My husband is a music trivia fiend. He knows the most random of the random but when it comes to pop culture, I WIN, hands down!!!
I don’t think he even knows who Samantha Ronson is!
I’m really hoping here that this conversation was with your husband and not your 11 yr old!!
well, unless it is on PBS kids or Playhouse Disney, I am usually clueless. I am with you.
Luanne – Yes, it was with my husband! Very funny!
My husband is the king of pop culture. He always knows more than me.
